I have only used it for flowers so far, it is easy to load easy to clean and works great. Gives good clouds and taste. It heats up quickly and the battery has good life. The middle heat works best for me. I don't have any experience with [concentrates] and The instructions were lacking on how to clean that cartridge. I look forward to using the other cartridges but based on flower only it is well worth the cost. Far superior to any Dry vape I have used before.

I got the current deal of a 30% discount as well as a gift of 3 additional cartridges and a grinder. Naturally I was quite excited and am so far very happy with my purchase.
This is my third vape.
My first was a genie that was much like a pipe but with a volcanic rock to heat with a torch. It didn't vape the material well at all. It was very easy to accidentally combust. I tired of using it in a short time. That was 6 years ago.
A few months ago I finally got my first table top vape. I did not want to spend over a hundred so I got an easy vape on sale. At first I was pretty happy but, as some what expected, it began to malfunction after less than a month. Now it only will heat to either 200 or 400. So after a few months of dealing with that I was ready to move on to something better, and willing to spend a little more.
I did a little shopping and came across the QD 500. I was already pretty sure I was going to buy it and then I found out about the discount and bought it immediately.
It came quickly, only 2 days after ordering. Every thing appears to be in perfect condition other than the mouthpiece on the dry cartridge that came with the QD. It is misshapen and does not fit correctly on the cartridge, but seeing as how I have five other mouthpieces, I think I can live with that.
The unit charged in about a half hour, perhaps even closer to twenty minutes. I love the magnetic design. Super cool and works well. I was also attracted to the fact that you can use while charging which, at some point, I know I will want to do.
I've yet to try the liquid cartridge.
The dry and extract cartridges work wonderfully.
I use the lowest heat setting but could see using the middle setting from time to time. Heats really well and quickly.
I like the auto shut off. 2 minutes is enough for me to get what I want from my vaping material, and even if it's not I can quickly start another cycle.
The cleaning kit is adorable and useful. I love tiny utensils so I was probably more excited for the cleaning tools than the average person.
Hopefully cleaning will be fairly easy. I'd like to keep these cartridges for a good while if possible.
Very happy to have back up cartridges.
The grinder is plastic but with magnetic closure and some storage in the base which is pretty cool.
Plus it was a free gift.
I definitely plan on getting the QD 300 for my mom for Christmas. She likes to be inconspicuous and doesn't need much.
I can see myself using this for years if it holds up.
I've made many online purchases this year and this one possibly the best.
I really like this thing. I got the Summit first, which is ok, but I wish I would've gotten this one first (and then I wouldn't have had to buy anything else). It works way more times off of one charge (enough that I'm not sure how many, while the Summit only works about 4 times off of one charge). I've only used it with flower, but it heats evenly and dependently and produces great vapor. And you can't beat the price for what you're getting.

I took one look at the boxing and first thought how like a lovely high-end beauty package it was, not like a box of a high-tech vaporizer.
The QD itself, has the look of an elongated '30s- style lighter. In particular,it looks as though it could be an elegant, burnished-gold case for crystal-studded opera glasses.
Last night, after imagining how cool it would be in an evening bag, I nearly fainted from dizziness at what appeared to be its tech--complexity involving multiple choices, multiple actions....
Fortunately, last night, I took it with me to a friend's home last night and she, being more "gear" knowledgeable than I, removed it all piece by piece, and actually opened and read the manual. Twas the manual that had crossed my eyes. Veronica asked me why I bought something I didn't know how to use, and had I read any reviews. I ignored the first, but told her, yes, I'd read reviews. She has a Pax 2 and after she'd got the QD well charged, she suggested we conduct a Subjective Scientific Function Comparison Study. It was a bit of a process becoming familiar with the button control's options as all 3 chambers had to be evaluated, (oil, wax, flower). By the evening's end I had laughed a lot and was quite happy that Lyft was driving me home.
Today, feeling some trepidation at a solo run, I waited til mid-afternoon before I took it out of its box. Not having yet read the manual, I hoped that I wouldn't have to.
What a true joy! I chose Milky Way wax. [80%Ind/20%Sat] It quickly warmed to perfect temp for the wax. Gentle and short draws produce delicate cloud of vapor. Yep, 5 stars. Go for it. (Oh, and to the reviewer about his/her QD arriving broken, the return process is simple and would have led to inner peace.
Yes, the cartridges are larger and much easier to load!
It is 1 year for the battery and any manufacturing defect.
Yes, it can! If you're using it for concentrates or dry material, it does need to be charging for a couple minutes before you are able to use it while it's charging.
The filling chamber is smaller than Pax's, so you do not have to put as much material in the QuickDraw 500 like you do in the Pax.
