Pax Vaporizer

Pax Vaporizer is a premium portable vaporizer that conveniently fits in your pocket and delivers pure, clean vapor. Small and lightweight, Pax is easily taken out and about and heats in under a minute. Its refined design is sleek, stylish, and durable, making Pax the ultimate choice for on-the-go vaporization.

How it Works

Load aromatic blends into the Pax oven and lightly tamp down. Power on Pax by pressing in the retractable mouthpiece and allowing it to spring in to the "on" position. Pax indicator light will turn green once fully heated and ready for use. Remove mouthpiece to reveal temperature button to cycle through presets as needed.


Pax features 3 temperature presets for optimal vaporization. Remove Pax mouthpiece to access the temperature button and cycle through the following presets:

  • Yellow....370 °F (188 °C)
  • Orange...390 °F (199 °C)
  • Red..........410 °F (210 °C)

Battery Life

Pax utilizes a Lithium-ion rechargeable internal battery that charges in under 2 hours and lasts for up to 2 hours of continuous use. Drop Pax onto the included charging dock for easy charging. While powered on, shake Pax to reveal battery life indicators:

  • Green...Full Battery
  • Yellow..Partially Charged
  • Red.......Low Battery


Pax is a precision device and should be cleaned on a regular basis. While Pax is powered on, remove mouthpiece and soak in soap and water. Let mouthpiece dry before replacing. To clean Pax body, remove mouthpiece and oven lid. Moisten cleaning tool with supplied alcohol wipe. Starting from the mouthpiece end, insert moistened cleaning tool into the vapor pathway, pushing out the oven screen. Floss Pax with cleaning tool. To clean Pax oven, oven lid, and screen, use a moistened bent cleaning tool or moistened cotton swab to remove residue. Screens will need to be replaced as necessary. Apply lubricant after every cleaning session.

Lubricant Instructions

  1. 1. Open lubricant packet.
  2. 2. Drip a small droplet of lubricant into the stem of the metal mouthpiece tube.
  3. 3. Apply another small droplet on the outside of the metal tube. Use the packet to smudge it all around the tube and under the small sliding part.
  4. 4. Replace your mouthpiece into Pax and press the mouthpiece in and out 10-20 times to distribute the lubricant.
  5. 5. Enjoy!

10 Year Ltd. Warranty

Ploom, Inc. warrants Pax against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ten (10) years from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Ploom will either (1) Repair the product defect, (2) Exchange the product with a product that is new or is at least a functionally equivalent product, or (3) Refund the purchase price of the product. The Limited Warranty does not apply to normal performance degradation of batteries or neglecting to adhere to cleaning instructions. Pax by Ploom Warranty is only serviceable in the US and Canada, as Pax is only available for purchase in the US and Canada, at this time.

Exclusions and Limitations

The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by Ploom, Inc. that can be identified by the “Ploom” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them and purchased at an authorized retailer, serviced by an authorized Ploom distributor. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Ploom products. This warranty does not apply to (a) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, acts of piracy, or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended use as described by Ploom; (c) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; (d) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic. All of the problems people are talking about comes from not cleaning your pax. This thing rules. Had mine for 3 years.

I have had the Pax for the past 9 months and then it started to malfunction. I was unable to control the temperature. The unit continued to heat up until it was almost to hot to hold. I contacted Pax and was told to send the unit to their support staff. Pax paid for the cost of shipping. They had my Pax for about 2 weeks. They just contacted me and advise that their support staff verified my problem. Further that they would be sending me a new Pax. Their 10 year warranty is as good as they say!!

It works great for a while...

It works great for a while, but then the battery starts to degrade and then the thing is useless. I used it heavily and in less than a year the battery doesn't hold a charge anymore. Trying to get the battery replaced is not worth what they jacked it up to since the pax 2 came out. Will not be getting the pax2, can't trust them with even more money and second time.

Help! My mouthpiece is stuck in the off position and won't pop up? Do you have any suggestions?

Sounds like it needs a really good deep cleaning! Try to wiggle your mouthpiece back and forth, and blow warm air on it to loosen up the residue that is stuck there. If this does not help release the mouthpiece, please contact our Customer Care department to assist you in setting up your warranty!

Does the Shipping box say vaporizer or any other description of what's inside?

Not at all! Our packages are plain and unmarked with no indication of what is inside. It will just have our return address on it that says, "Shipping Department"
