Volcano Vaporizer Digit

All the main ingredients of the world's top rated vaporizer are the same with the Volcano Digit as they were with the Volcano Classic except with the digital display you get only a 2 year warranty instead of 3 years but they give you an "auto-shut off" feature which is a great addition and will definitely help make your Digit Volcano Vaporizer last for many years.

Durability/ Claims

The Volcano vaporizer is manufactured in Germany by a company called Storz & Bickel. They have warranty services in the United States so you don’t have to send it to Germany if something breaks on it.

Though the Digit Volcano comes with a 2 year warranty compared to the 3 year warranty the Volcano Classic comes with – we feel that you will never need to use the warranty services if it's used properly. The Digit Volcano does have the led display that could go bad – we figure that Storz & Bickel had a certain fail rate with the digital display so they removed a year off the warranty compared to the Classic knob style, with the addition of the auto-shut off feature.

Just like the Volcano Classic removing the shell to get it custom painted (which we have done) will void your warranty and Storz & Bickel will be able to tell you took the shell off.

Design

This is by far one of the best looking vaporizers on the market. You could easily leave this in your kitchen and it would blend it with the rest of your stainless appliances. The added lights from the LED display only add to the "cool" factor and aids in vaporizing in low light conditions. The "balloon" only system is sometimes mundane because you won't want to or need to fill a whole bag of vapor if it's just for you – that’s where some of the dual function vaporizers have an edge.

Taste

You will not find a better tasting vaporizing experience out there. This is where price does make a difference. Yes this is one of the most expensive vaporizers on the market but you get what you pay for. Whatever herb is in the filling chamber is 100% what you will taste – no after tastes and def never a burnt herbal vapor.

Ease of Use

Since the Volcano Digit and Classic only use the balloon system there's not any specific breathing techniques to work on nor any instructions needed to print out and hand to your friends at a social vaporizer gathering. There's a fold out card in the box with big pictures that explains exactly how to turn the heat on, grind your herb, put it in the filling chamber, set it on top of the Volcano vaporizer and attach the balloon on top of the filling chamber; from there turn on the fan and watch the balloon quickly fill with vapor. There are two different valve and balloon options that we go into great detail here. The mouthpiece and filling chamber parts can all be easily taken apart and cleaned with rubbing alcohol and q-tips.

Tips and Tricks

Vape World suggests you never leave the filling chamber on the Volcano while in use. When the balloon is filled with vapor remove both the filling chamber and connected balloon from the unit – then shut off the fan – then separate the balloon from the filling chamber attach the mouthpiece. Inhale and enjoy – you will never be disappointed.
