Volcano Classic Vaporizer Review
This is one of the first vaporizers Vape World carried; we have years of experience to give you a very thorough review.
Some of the features listed here include one of the best warranties in the industry with 3 years, a silenced air pump, electro-mechanical designed internals and an authentic Storz & Bickel acrylic grinder.
The Volcano Classic is manufactured in Germany by Storz & Bickel. They have a subsidiary office in Oakland, CA which makes any U.S. warranty claim a breeze in the rare event you need to send your unit in for repairs.
Though the Volcano Classic comes with a 3 year warranty we feel that you will never need it if it's used properly. We have several in-house Volcano Vaporizers owned by employees that have been used daily for 5 years and still have no problems.
Vape World suggests when not in use, turn the unit off to extend the heating element's life span. Removing the shell to get it custom painted.
This is by far one of the best looking vaporizers on the market. You could easily leave this in your kitchen and it would blend it with the rest of your stainless steel appliances. The Volcano vaporizer's patented balloon valve system "captures" the vapor and allows you to enjoy it at your own pace which isn't replicated by any other vaporizer.
Although debatable, you will likely not find a better tasting vaporizing experience out there. This is where price does make a difference. Yes this is one of the most expensive vaporizers on the market, but you get what you pay for. Whatever material is in the filling chamber is 100% what you will taste – no after tastes and definitely never a burnt materialal vapor.
Ease of Use
Since the Volcano Classic only uses the balloon system, there's not any specific breathing techniques to work on nor any instructions needed to print out and hand to your friends at a social vaporizer gathering. There's a fold out card in the box with pictures explaining exactly how to turn the heat on, grind your aromatic blends, put it in the filling chamber, set it on top of the Volcano and attach the balloon on top of the filling chamber; from there, turn on the fan and watch the balloon quickly fill with vapor. There are two different valve and balloon options that we go into great detail here. The mouthpiece and filling chamber parts can all be easily taken apart and cleaned with rubbing alcohol and q-tips.
Tips and Tricks
Vape World suggests you never leave the filling chamber on the Volcano vaporizer while in use. When the balloon is filled with vapor remove both the filling chamber and connected balloon from the unit – then shut off the fan – then separate the balloon from the filling chamber attach the mouthpiece. Inhale and enjoy – you will never be disappointed.
