The Silver Surfer Vaporizer is hand made in the United States and is constructed of high quality aluminum and ceramic components. The 1/5 inch solid aluminum housing goes through an extensive manufacturing process before it is ready for use. The sturdy frame creates an excellent foundation for this vaporizer which also employs a top of the line ceramic heating element.
The Ceramic Heating Element used in the Silver Surfer Vaporizer is made of high quality materials and sets the standard in the industry. This heater will last much longer, get hotter faster, and out perform it's competition for a lifetime. The element is fully adjustable from 200°F all the way up to 900°F. This heater will also never become oxidized or corrode, deteriorate and burn out like many other heating elements, because the heater on the Silver Surfer Vaporizer is actually enclosed within a ceramic coat and then enclosed again within a glass tube.
The inverted heating element is an original design by Silver Surfer, this downward angle prevents materials from falling out of the wand and into the unit. Silver Surfer is also one of the only vaporizers on the market to eliminate contact between your vapors and any type of metallic element. The fully glass enclosed heating element and glass components allow for a completely inert vaporizing experience. All glass components are pyrex grade borosilicate glass and can be interchanged and customized for personal preference.

SSV GREAT! Vapeworld....dissapointing. Review by Casey on 9/1/10
Quality Ease-of-Use Value I did my homework and researched em all....settled on either a da buddha or silver surfer, and very glad I ponied up the extra $ for the SSV.
Have yet to have a bad session....or read a bad review.
After 2 weeks of use, I'm ready to say that it was an excellent purchase.
Only complaint - there are 3 versions of the SSV. Standard, Ground Glass, or Spherical Ground Glass. After calling Vapeworld and being reassured they have the newest Spherical Ground Glass versions....I was shipped a standard Ground Glass model. Not sure what I'm going to do with this waste of a $15 hands free accessory that only fits the new ones....
Not worth my effort to reship the SSV back and wait forever for the right one to ship either. -

Quality Ease-of-Use Value If you are like me, you do your homework before you make a major purchase. When you are spending a lot of money you want to make sure you get the best product available. After extensive reading online, and in forums, I decided on The Silver Surfer. I can tell you that you will NOT be sorry if you purchase a Silver Surfer. I compared a lot of units before making my choice. . I looked at the Volcano, The Extreme, aire, and a myriad of others. None had the consistent praise the Silver Surfer does. You would read one review, and the author loved it…read another and you wonder if they were talking about the same item.... I personally recommend you get your Silver Surfer with a “Standard” heater cover, NOT the “Ground Glass”. If you want Ground Glass go with DaBuddah and save yourself a hundred bux I can assure you that you are making an EXCELLENT choice if you purchase A Silver Surfer. They hold their value very well. Look on eBay…although I don’t know why you would want to sell it. If you are on the fence, JUMP NOW. The manufacturer is going to raise the price of them by 25 dollars on 12/15 you can verify it by checking their link at 7th Floor.
