SSV
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer is hand made in the United States and is constructed of high quality aluminum and ceramic components. The 1/5 inch solid aluminum housing goes through an extensive manufacturing process before it is ready for use. The sturdy frame creates an excellent foundation for this vaporizer which also employs a top of the line ceramic heating element. The SSV is also available in many custom colors, as you can see below.
Differences
The main differences between the Da Buddha Vaporizer and the more expensive Silver Surfer Vaporizer are small but important in your buying decision. First thing you will notice with the Silver Surfer Vaporizer (SSV) is the custom colored glass parts. The SSV will have custom colored glass on the top of the heater cover, the wand and will come with a custom glass colored knob that is actually hand blown from a marble – so no two colored knobs will ever be the same.
Another difference in the SSV vs the Da Buddha Vaporizer (DBV) is the tilted downward heating element – this actually makes sure your material will never come close enough to the ceramic heating element to cause combustion. Some people have experienced their DBV burn their material randomly based on the “dryness” and the amount of material placed in the wand, something you will not experience with the SSV.
The last difference between the Silver Surfer and Da Buddha Vaporizers is that the SSV can be changed to a Standard glass configuration – which means your heater cover and wand will no longer be Hands Free but you can actually rotate the wand while inhaling to create a more even vaporized surface area on your materials leading to arguably better vapor hits.
LSV
The new for 2011 LSV Vaporizer is a completely new vaporizer by 7th Floor. LSV, stands for Life Saber Vaporizer because with the glass wand/mouthpiece inserted in the unit it looks like a Star Wars style "light saber" or in general a sword of some type. The LSV uses the same great heating element from the SSV yet incorporates a completely new and different way to vaporize.
With the extra long cord and one hand grab usage - the LSV tries to bring back the social "pass" that is usually missed out upon when it comes to vaporizers. Only available in Silver the LSV is a great step in a new wave of vaporizers that will be introduced later this year.
