What is the viVape 2?
The viVape 2 by Vaporfection is a revolutionary digital vaporizer because all of its settings are controlled via a colored touchscreen similar to the way most smartphones (iPhone, Android, et. al.) are utilized. The viVape 2 is a true international vaporizer and can be used in the USA and world-wide because of it's 110/240 voltage compatibility. Vaporfection is known for their advanced temperature technology, and they've used the latest and greatest temperature tech. on the new viVape 2. There's an on-board microprocessor temperature controller directly wired to a temperature sensor and dynamically reads and adjusts the temperature for an accurate vaporizing experience.
How does the viVape 2 work?
The Vaporfection viVape 2 has a dual delivery method, meaning it comes with a bag/balloon attachment and also a wand with a whip for direct draw delivery. The included bag/balloon valve system is an easy way to draw vapor out of the bag or leave the vapor in there between draws.
The delivery method can be selected with the touch screen controls, along with the temperature setting. The touchscreen indicates the current and target temperatures of the device, as well as allowing the target temperature to be increased or decreased through the touch controls. Once the current temperature reaches the target temp., the heating chamber has a LED which will start to glow to indicate when it's ready to begin vaping.

The viVape 2 features a special patented lab-grade glass-on-glass heating element and heating chamber which results in the most purist vapor available.
The viVape 2 is enclosed a sturdy casing that feels very durable and solid. The included hose is medical grade quality tubing.

Decent, not as good as I expected Review by Jay on 2/15/13
Value Quality Ease-of-Use This product looks great but the functionality is mediocre compared to the volcano. First, the glass herbal container is not as easy to load your blends due to the small opening. Second, sometimes the connection between the glass container and the unit itself is not secure and you must be careful. If the glass container pops out and hits the floor...say goodbye because it will break easily. Third, it seems as though the heating element does not efficiently create the amount of vape that I expect it to. It seems that I am using a lot more blends than I should be. Fourth, it has too many parts for something that should be simple to use....glass container, tube, glass mouth piece, attachement for the bag. On and also, when converting to tube to bag, you need to cut off the tube from the mouth piece to attach the bag unit. It seems that I waste a few inches off the tube every time and therefore I can only use the wand/tube.
The viVape2 is mediocre at best because it is way cheaper than the volcano. But if you plan on carrying this around to different places, chances are one of the glass parts will break and replacements are not cheap!!!

Quality Ease-of-Use Value I've had the Volcano for years, and it's great. I've had a Ploom Pax since they came out and it's good but flawed. This viVape 2 lets you do whip or bags, and it works superbly and produces repeatable results. This is the one for me

Ease-of-Use Value Quality This is the best vaporizer I have had! It heats up faster than all the others, and even has a self timer for cooling down, so it doesnt go into shock by shutting off automatically. I love the digital touch screen because it is easy to read, and the design of the Vivape makes it really descreet--so I can have anyone over and still leave it out! I recommend this to everyone!

Quality Ease-of-Use Value I love it! Does exactly what it says it does. It's very quiet and heats up very quickly. I expected hot air in my lungs but I was surprisingly wrong. It hits like a champ and easy to disassemble. The touch screen is sensitive to the touch and very colorful. The size of the viVape is about the size of a medium size book. One of the features that I really like is you can set the timer and leave it on, when the timer shut down the unit it has a cooling mode and the fan cools down the unit before it turns completely off. Another feature I enjoy is using either the whip or balloon method. I highly recommend, great job Vaporfection!
