What is the VaporGenie?

The VaporGenie is a portable vaporizer powered only by a lighter or wick. Like any vaporizer, the VaporGenie heats up your material to the point of vaporization and not combustion. That is to say that your material heats up just enough to release essential essences, but not hot enough to combust or smoke.

The VaporGenie is unique because it uses a flame to be used to heat up the air, which gets blocked by a ceramic filter.

How does it work?

Apply a flame just above the ceramic filter and draw air in slowly on the mouthpiece end. The ceramic filter heats up but protects your material from the flame. The hot air passing through the ceramic filter passes over your materials to create a vapor.

Construction of the VaporGenie

The portable VaporGenie classic is primarily made of wood that is finely sanded and sealed with a natural varnish for a nice finish. It's made without glues or adhesives, and no toxic chemicals. Just about every piece of the VaporGenie is made in the USA.

The Genie's ceramic filter is composed of a high purity silicon carbide, known to be one of the most heat resistant and inert ceramics available. This type of ceramic contains no metals, which ensures a clean taste and vapor. It's also very rugged and never requires replacement, just clean if it gets dirty.

The metal parts in the VaporGenie are either stainless steel or chrome plated. The screen and bowl/dish are both stainless steel.
