Vaporizers

A vaporizer is a device used to sublimate the active ingredients of material, including therapeutic or medicinal blends. Rather than burning like previous methods, which produces irritating, toxic, and carcinogenic by-products, a vaporizer heats the material in a partial vacuum so that the active compounds boil off into a vapor. The vapor is filtered by the vaporizer before it's inhaled to insure the taste and vapor to air mixture is perfect for the end user. You can inhale the vapor 2 main ways: directly y tube or mouthpiece (least social method) or by the vaporizer's fan pushing your vapor into a portable plastic balloon (very social method). After vaporization occurs you are never left with ashes, but the solid remains, devoid of its original color and aroma. No More Combustion

No combustion is evident; combustion being the break down of material because of extreme heat ie: using a lighter. Therefore no smoke or taste of smoke is evident. The vapor ideally contains virtually zero particle matter or tar, and significantly lower concentrations of noxious gases such as carbon monoxide. In all cases, smoke contains enormous amounts of toxic byproducts such as tar and nitric oxide. These byproducts irritate the mouth, throat and lungs, and give off bad odors. Nevermind the fact that with no second hand smoke to worry about you will also be helping the environment and people around you.

Moreover, the high and uncontrolled combustion temperature destroys a large percentage of the active ingredients so one needs more of the material to obtain a similar effect. By that point alone purchasing a vaporizer should in fact pay for itself in very little time - some within 2 weeks!

Several scientific studies have been done showing that vaporization is a means of delivery less injurious to health than smoking;

In 2007, a study by University of California, San Francisco published in the Official Journal of the American Academy of Neurology examined the effectiveness of a vaporizer that heats to a temperature between 180°C (356°F) and 200°C (392°F) degrees and found:

“Using Carbon Monoxide as an indicator, there was virtually no exposure to harmful combustion products using the vaporizing device. Since it replicates smoking's efficiency at producing the desired effect using smaller amounts of the active ingredient as opposed to pill forms, this device has great potential for improving the therapeutic utility of any material”
