Silver Da Buddha Vaporizer Overview
The Da Buddha Vaporizer by 7th Floor, the makers of the Silver Surfer Vaporizer, is an aromatherapy vaporizer that employs a ground glass whip/wand system that gives the user a true hands free vaporizer. 7th Floor is a company out of Colorado Springs, CO USA, which is where all their vaporizers, Silver Surfer Vaporizer and Da Buddha are made.
The Da Buddha comes in two different colors – Black and Silver. The shell is made of 1/5" hardened aluminum and comes with a 3 year warranty against manufacturer defects. The Black DBV Vaporizer is $20 more due to the anodizing process involved in making it from Silver Aluminum to Black. 7th Floor chose aluminum for its housing for a couple of reasons including safety against fire hazards (wood box vaporizers) and to keep the internal heat of the Da Buddha Vaporizer to stay internal – aluminum is a great heat resistant metal. The Da Buddha Vaporizer base comes in just Black and has 4 rubber feet on the bottom keeping your DBV (Da Buddha Vaporizer) stable at all times.
The vaporizer's temperature is controlled by an internal regulation system and is handled by a small aluminum knob with a notch to tell you where the heat is set at. There is no digital display so to find the temperature that works best with your type of vaporizing experience will be slightly different per user, more of a personal taste. A 1-2 O'clock setting is best to start with and then adjust the knob slightly from there – more heat will create a denser vapor and might make you cough, a lighter temperature will create less vapor which will work best with heavier types of plant materials.
The Da Buddha Vaporizer uses a ground glass wand with ground glass fitting heater cover, creating a true and safe hands free experience.
All glass used with the Da Buddha Vaporizer is heat resistant and safe to inhale from. To make sure the vapor is always cool and fresh the Da Buddha Vaporizer uses a small air intake hole in the glass heater cover. The Da Buddha Herbal Vaporizer is also the only vaporizer to have all the hot metal eliminated from the path of the air you are inhaling to offer the cleanest vaporization possible. The DBV only uses stainless steel, re-usable screens to make the taste is always the same and that no harmful fumes are ever given off.
The very short 2-3 minute heating time is helped by the effective patented ceramic heating element designed by 7th Floor with the same technology used with the more expensive Silver Surfer Vaporizer. 7th Floor actually went and tried many different ceramic and glass heating elements and took the best benefits from each one, heat-up time and taste of glass and longevity of a ceramic.
The vaporizer carrying bag is included for free with all Da Buddha and Silver Surfer Vaporizer purchases and is made of natural hemp. The hemp vaporizer bag includes pockets to hold and transport your DBV safely and easily as well as a strap to carry it like a backpack. A very cool backpack.
The Da Buddha Vaporizer comes with a 3 year warranty; this warranty covers everything but the glass. Per 7th Floor on after warranty replacements:
"If after the warranty period is over, you can get anything replaced for $25 or less and this includes the shipping charge to ship it back to you via UPS. We would love to offer a longer warranty but nothing can last a lifetime. Pretty much the Da Buddha Vaporizer has been designed to last many worry free years."
How To Clean Your Da Buddha Vaporizer:
- Take the whip off the Da Buddha wand and mouthpiece
- Then take the screen from the Da Buddha Vaporizer wand out (pries out)
- Cover one end of the Wand (with no screen) with a paper towel, gently blow into the wand until your breath warms/loosens up the built up vapor hash and pushes it onto the paper towel on the other end.
- Then stick your included Da Buddha stir tool into the end where the tube was, and just scrape the rest of the resin out
- The whip will have built up resin inside of it too, to clean the resin out you can either put it through your dish washer (by itself) on a very low cycle and no harsh detergents or you can let it soak in hot water and mild soap
- To clean and remove the Heater Cover, gently grasp the heater cover while it is cold and twist back and forth and gently pull it up and off
- To clean, try to use water and a toothbrush first instead of any harsh chemicals or alcohol.

Quality Ease-of-Use Value After doing a lot of research I finally settled on Da Buddha vaporizer and I am very happy with it. first the cons- 1.some learning curve for friends who are used to using combustion techniques. 2. some glass parts could be broken easily. 3. not very portable
Pros- 1. its a vaporizer! 2. I require much less plant material than I used to using combustion techniques. 3. great "stay at home"/ "coffee table" kind of piece. 4. the effect of vapor is much "cleaner" than smoke which is something one can only understand once they've vaporized but trust me this is a real empirically measurable difference.
PS. I have had an excellent buying experience from vapeworld and I intend to do business with them again. -

Quality Ease-of-Use Value This is my first time buying a vaporizer. I'm bought this one because it is made in America and I hear a lot of good review about da buddha. At first I follow the the direction using it for the first time. Heat it up max for 10min. They turn it down 1/4 put the herb in the wand and stick it in the hole. Inhale smoothly, I did that, it was so weird. I was in the closet for the first time because of the 10ft cord. My wife rush in and said "what are you doing?" I told her I'm testing my new toy. I asked her do you smell anything she said "no". I walk out and crash........ Thank you... Buddha.

Quality Ease-of-Use Value Bought The Buddha as my first vaporizer this past week. I had never used one before and after doing a little research decided to buy this one. I'm glad i decided on it, because it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. Very easy to use, extremely durable, and cheap too. The unit heats up very quickly and works very well. The entire unit feels very solid and produces a very smooth vapor.
All in all, it is worth the money. If your looking for a cheap, reliable vape, you really can't go wrong with DBV, or Vapeworld. -

Quality Ease-of-Use Value I love my da buddha i've owned one for over a year. After my old one got stolen a few weeks ago, i couldn't live without it and picked one up off vapeworld for a great price with free shipping!

I have owned a volcano and that thing took a fall and the heating element was damaged. I sold it. screw that thing! what a POS, it's not built for the average vaper, sorry volcano fanboys.
My da buddha was flung to the ground TWICE in ONE day, the glass didn't even break as the cyndrical design is sturdy and saved it :) 7th floor realized ssv's cousin was worth a few more bucks!! :D

Quality Ease-of-Use Value Both Vape World and Da Buddha are amazing. Da Buddha is an absolutely amazing vape.
